Your web host is your publisher. Think of it that way. You might have a great book in mind, but nobody will see it without a publisher. Same with online marketing. Your online campaigns can go out on the open marketplace only after they have been hosted. Sure, there are a number of “free” ways to get the word out (Squidoo, Hubpages, WordPress, and on and on), but remember that nothing in life is free. When your work product is held by someone else, you play by their rules. So, rule number one: find a good webhost and keep everything under your own control.
